Speaking at a workshop for Social Accountability Monitoring The Mutoko Medical Social Worker Head of Department Mr. Kelvin Chitowo a representative for the District Medical Officer Dr. Mangwiro yesterday 19/6/2024.

Mr. Kelvin Chitowo stated that the District Medical Officer is happy to put a stamp in every letter that Disaster and Environmental Management Trust and Zimbabwe Smallholder Organic Farmers Forum to use when they require assistance in every clinic which is a requirement to them.

The Medical Social Worker emphasized that assess to information is key to the stakeholders so that there is the best delivery of services from all partners or stakeholders. The Councilor for ward 4 Mr. Emmanuel Dhiki implored assess to information on health, agricultural inputs deliveries and other related information to be given at need to individuals, organization that may require it so that the people will always be aware.

Councilor Emmanuel Dhiki gave emphasis that our government is pushing that everyone should not be left behind with assess to information quoting even the Constitution of Zimbabwe 2013 which explicitly states that: “Every Zimbabwean citizen or permanent resident, including juristic persons and the Zimbabwean media” has the right to access information.
